Hey guys, so the other day, I had this meeting with…a really great meeting with a client.

She is somebody who’s working super hard to start and grow our business. [Which is always exciting.]

But something came up just randomly in passing, that I thought would be worth sharing here with you guys.

And that is how important it is to have processes in place.

Now, maybe they just seem like a bigger deal. Maybe they’re a little bigger deal to me, because I tend to be analytical. But I think any type of person in any type of business can benefit greatly from having solid processes in place.

Now, I think sometimes those things, they tend to be more obvious in other areas of our business but they totally apply to our marketing as well.

So for example, do you did you write a blog post? Put a process in place, maybe just a checklist of all the things that you do from the writing, to the publishing, to the ways you promote it.

Maybe you don’t blog? But do you attend networking events? Put a process in place.

For the things that you’ll do pregame, during the event, and all the ways you’re going to follow up after the fact.

I mean, you get where I’m going with this.

Basically, anything that you can make a repeatable process is going to help so much.

And it really just makes life easier. Both because you become very clear on what your next task and steps are going to be. But then it makes it easier to tell where you’re having success and what you need to improve on.

Now, this client, she was discovering how much that putting some processes in place was helping her, and I think you guys will discover the same too.
