Hey guys, so, let’s talk about email marketing.
And now some of you are thinking wait, like shooting out a big email blast, or the ever-popular [Unfortunately] monthly newsletter. And you’re like yeah we’ve tried some of that stuff and haven’t had a whole lot of success.
Well, email marketing done right is simply put, relationship building.
It’s like making friends. The first time you meet somebody you don’t shout at them to buy, or you don’t pull out the old bullhorn and yell about your latest blog posts. And your hopefully not force-feeding them a litany of vacation photos.
The right approach here is one where they are gradually getting to know you, and you’re providing them value, along the way.
If you can reframe your email marketing to be more like you’re holding someone’s hand from the first time you meet them until they become a raving lunatic fan of your business. You’re going to have a lot more success.
And that’s the marketing minute.
